TRIP ITINERARY
Meals included in the trip cost are specified as

DAY 1
Early morning flight from Istanbul to
Cappadocia and transfer to Uchisar
to see the region’s famous huge rock citadel
that has a wonderful panoramic view of the area.
Then
visit Goreme
Outdoor Museum,
an old monastic settlement, noted for its
rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes,
refectories, a convent, a dormitory for monks, a
wine press, etc. Check in the hotel after lunch and later in the afternoon
hike in fantastic Baglidere Valley also known as
Love Valley. Overnight at
Urgup Evi
or a similar traditional accommodation.
DAY 2
At around dawn, you can have an optional balloon
ride over Cappadocia at your own expense.
After breakfast continue your
exploration with
hiking, the best way of feeling fantastic Cappadocia. Today, hike
through the lunar terrain of Red Valley with
hidden rock-carved churches and visit Cavusin town. Then drive to Avanos, the
pottery center of Cappadocia, for lunch and
pottery experience. In the afternoon explore Pasa Baglari with its unusual forms of “fairy chimneys”.
DAY 3
Morning visit
to another beautiful valley with
naturally sculpted statues of the Virgin Mary, a
camel, monk seals, etc. Then drive to
peaceful Monastery of Ayios Archangelos at
Keslik and the
beautiful Soganli Valley where,
the
rock churches were shaped outside as well as inside. In the afternoon we
explore the unreal underground city of Kaymakli.
Transfer to airport and
fly back to Istanbul
in the evening. Overnight at
Arcadia Blue
or a similar lodging in
Istanbul.
