   Once you have made your reservation, we will contact  you the very next day. To confirm your reservation,  you are then required to wire a deposit of 15% of  the total trip cost.  Payment schedule is outlined below :

⁽¹⁾  Instead of the balance, a second 15% can also be paid by 25 days before the trip if you want to pay the rest in a later time or on your arrival.

Cancellation & Refunds

We refund the portion of the payments that's not yet advanced to suppliers.

  In sailing trips:

-  The 1th payment is nonrefundable as it directly goes to the yachting company.

-  95% of the 2nd payment is refunded when the trip is cancelled 25 days prior to departure. For cancellation within less than 20 days before the trip, 85% of the second payment is refunded.

 In overland tours:

-  1th payment:  96% of  the 1th payment  is refunded for cancellation made more than 25 days prior to departure. This percentage is 80% when the trip is cancelled within less than 25 days prior to departure.

-  2nd payment:  96% of the 2nd payment is refunded when the trip is cancelled more than 20 days prior to departure.  For cancellation within less than 20 days before the trip, we refund 90% of the 2nd payment.

NOTE:

Most of the hotels, bus and yacht companies require advance payment for a firm reservation and we have to make these payments to guarantee the best available ones. Also we have to purchase your domestic flight tickets in advance.

* BALBIUS TRAVEL reserves the right to cancel any of the scheduled trips due to inadequate sign ups. In that case, if you have made an advance payment, you will be fully refunded.
